Compared with the development status of foreign rubber injection molding, the domestic rubber injection technology is still in its infancy. Although the injection machine can be used to produce products, the related process research work is insufficient. A typical example is that most of the production process does not set the holding pressure, but the injection pressure is used to fill the mold cavity, which leads to easy "big cakes" in the runner and flash on the product.

The development of rubber injection vulcanization molding machines is inseparable from the tripartite cooperation of equipment factories, mold suppliers, and product factories to jointly promote the application and development of injection molding. However, from a domestic perspective, these three links are basically independent and lack integration.

From the injection molding machine itself, the current domestic market capacity is about 450 million yuan, with an annual growth rate of about 30-40%. At present, there are more than 20 "brands" of rubber injection machines in the Chinese market, most of which have evolved from Taiwanese machines or mainland machines that were just started. 

Usually injection machine manufacturers find an investor, copy a company’s drawings or make small changes on this basis for manufacturing and production, use low prices or rely on personal relationships with equipment purchasers to compete in the market, and lack innovation and R&D capabilities. This has led to insufficient technological innovation of the equipment, let alone research on rubber injection technology
